Chrispzero posted a video "Building Infinity" on VIMEO

Building Infinity follows the build of an infinity cube, "Infinity V2" by Gabriel Pulecio, for YesBoss. From an empty space to an unassuming 8 x 8 x 8 box, once the cube comes to life, an incredibly unique and immersive experience is born.I followed the process from start to finish, documenting the build and electrical work through to the finished product. "Infinity" contains 10,000 individual LED lights, each and every one uniquely programmable, attached to custom reflective panels and a series of mirrored surfaces. This allows for infinite visual possibilities, from basic shapes to intricately designed patterns to neverending seas of colors and gradients. I could have filmed and sat in this space for hours - every moment is different and elicits a unique feel and emotion. Even when the displays are chaotic and intense, "Infinity" feels like a peaceful and self-reflective place when you're inside, immersed by color and light all around you. Gabriel's programming and ability to manipulate the space in an infinite amount of ways is a big part of what makes it so powerful. In addition to the wide variety of programmed displays, "Infinity" has motion sensors that alter the output to react to your movements, making each person's experience more unique. The finished "Infinity" footage features visuals from different angles of the cube interspersed with people's first reactions inside of it, and footage from the dancer portraits that YesBoss later produced in the space. I've never had so much fun sorting and editing than with this footage. If you ever get an opportunity to check out any of Gabriel's projects or installations in person, don't miss it!For more from "Infinity" and YesBoss, check out:Emotions Portrait - vimeo.com/216040330∞ - vimeo.com/221974838Follow Gabriel at instagram.com/remembervictoriosaFollow me to see more of my work and behind the scenes images -Instagram - instagram.com/chrispzeroFacebook - facebook.com/chrispzeroTwitter - twitter.com/chrispzeroInfinity built by Paul Gaugon and Daniel HudsonSpecial thanks to everyone who helped make this project happen:Daniel GarciaKathryn HendersonGabriel PulecioDaniel HudsonJordan HarveyJustin MeltzerThank you for taking the time to watch and share!Cast: Chris PritchardTags: timelapse, time-lapse, art, design, infinity, light, installation, artist, touchdesigner, build, artistic and experimental
